In Mahasandhi, the Great Perfection, any Dharma practice can lead one to Achievement. Throughout history, however, although countless cultivators have practiced the Great Perfection, very few became Achievers. Cultivators are as numerous as grains of sand along the seashore, while Achievers are as rare as jewels upon a crown.

A person who wants to die cannot be saved. A person who refuses to pursue health cannot be saved. Those who strive for health can be saved. The Guang Huan Mi Zong Dharma can adapt to all sentient beings.

Only those who have profound affinity and strong root capacity —those with a deep aspiration for the Dharma—would cross mountains and rivers in search of it, dedicating themselves to its pursuit.

The practice of Inner Fire is traditionally “not transmitted to a third person” and “not spoken where six ears may hear.” Yet today it is openly transmitted to those attending the Inner Fire Practice Dharma Assembly. Why? To help those who possess the proper root capacity and karmic affinity.

Shakyamuni Buddha spoke of diligence—right diligence. Along the path of effort, you will inevitably encounter obstacles. How can you perfect yourself? You must rely on the precepts. To accomplish anything successfully, you must still rely on the precepts.
