An effective dharma, even if it bestows merely a benefit as small as a drop of water, should be repaid with gratitude and never forgotten…As long as a heart of gratitude remains, everything can move forward, and all issues can be resolved. However, some people forget. Once they forget, afflictions return. By the time they recall what they once had and come back to learn the Dharma, it is already too late.
